Infinity Blade for iPad is a superb action role-playing game. The gameplay revolves around sword fights and the iPad’s screen is perfect to enjoy this marvelous game to the fullest extent. The graphics and rendering are basically of unparalleled quality. The 3-dimensional characters are realistic and their motion and the physics behind the swords are almost palpable through the iPad. There are several content-packs available on top of the base game as in-app purchases. This iPad app lets you customize your character to your heart’s content before embarking on the game’s quest. It integrated with Apple’s Gamecenter, so you can track and compare your achievements against others. 
The app works perfectly well on the original iPad as well as on the new iPad 2. Performance is smooth and there are no lags or jitters to worry about. Leveling-up happens at the right moments with just the right amount of challenges presented to keep the game interesting. Infinity Blade doesn’t offer as rich a storyline as some other RPGs on other dedicated gaming platforms, but there’s sufficient there to keep you coming back. The expansion packs offer an additional layer of depth. If you enjoy RPGs or war games, this is a must-have iPad app.
