Linux has always been my favourite platform. But still I cannot leave Windows. I am using Windows from beginning and still have it in dual boot as my secondary OS. There always have been craze about the top 10 or top 20 applications. But everyone has different needs. So the list of top applications will vary for different people. Here are my top 20 application that I always install whenever I reinstall Windows.
1.Avast! Free Antivirus
Security is the most important thing. I've found Avast to be great in its scanning engine. It is light on resources and low rate of false positives. If you don't want to pay for your Antivirus product, Avast is a good choice.

Only an antivirus is not enough. Malwarebytes Antimalware free version is a great tool to keep you protected from Malwares.

3.IObit Advanced SystemCare Free!
Advanced SystemCare is a great PC maintenance tool. Though you can upgrade to the pro version, the free version also gives great results.
