Icewind Dale 2, based on the third edition of the rules of Dungeons & Dragons, - a continuation of the acclaimed fantasy role-playing game Icewind Dale. Icewind Dale 2 - the next blockbuster from the company Interplay, the publisher of cult games Baldurs Gate, Baldurs Gate 2, Fallout, Fallout 2, and many others.
The game is set in the north-western part of the universe, Forgotten Realms, around the town of Targos, one of the ten cities in the region, Icewind Dale, thirty years after the events of the first part.
