A.R.E.S.: Extinction Agenda is the first chapter in a full featured episodic hardcore action packed side scrolling platformer, in the traditions of retro classics, where you play as Ares, a combat robot created for the sole purpose of saving humanity. Can you live up to the task or will you be reduced to nuts and bolts?
You are Ares, the first Zytron immune robot. A symbol of how far human technology has come, you are the most advanced robot in existence; built to run faster, jump higher, and fire quicker. In addition to these core attributes, your design includes a system for converting spare parts and resources into valuable items, armor, and weaponry. You will need to use everything at your disposal in order to reach and rescue the survivors aboard the Zytron infected space station. You are the ultimate weapon with the ultimate sidekick – Valkyl, a military-support satellite. Order her to use her Zypher cannon, and then watch as lasers beam down from the sky!
Come face to face with colossal opponents, finding creative solutions to defeat them in battle. Destroy enemies, collect their parts, and then recycle them to make incredible items, including health packs, ammo, and weapon upgrades. Two months ago we bring you v1.1.12 of this nice game, and now we bring
you v1.20. Next read the list of the changes and fixes improved in this
version.
New Features :
º Add new customizable armors.
º Genesis Suit, featuring a new special attack, can be unlocked by
achieving the SS rank on all missions.
Adjustments :
º Final cinematic and credits can be skipped after the first playthrough
º Reduced some sound effect volumes.
º Reduced camera scrolling speed in the Leviathan’s chase phase, on
normal difficulty.
º Changed story dialog in stage 4 and stage 5′s cinematics.
º The in-game mouse crosshair no longer dissappear when plug in the
xbox360 controller.
Fixes :
º Fixed crash that will occur when the system has old demo version data.
º Fixed an exploit which allow players to use EMP grenade to freeze some
bosses indefinitely.
º Fixed a bug where achievement gains notification does not disappear
from the screen.
º Fixed a bug where the game cannot load in some language format.
º Fixed a issue in stage 2 where the player can get the data cube before
the tutorial begins.
º The game no longer crashes if no known audio device is found.
º The game no longer crashes if Media Player is not installed.
º Fixed miscellaneous spelling and grammar errors.
º Fixed wall collision error in stage 5.
