iPhone 5′s 3.7inch screen confirmed by the latest iOS beta Read more: http://www.vsocio.com/mobile-phone/iphone-5s-37inch-screen-confirmed-latest-ios

While some of us are looking at the just released beta 7 of the upcoming iOS as a fresh delivery of bug fixes for our iPhones, some are taking a more serious approach to it. Obviously someone took the effort to go through most of the files that the new release contains and stumbled upon this new generic icon that supposedly depicts the iPhone 5.

iphone 5 iPhone 5s 3.7inch screen confirmed by the latest iOS beta

The give-away is the rectangular home button that will, reportedly, replace the circle one in the next iteration of the iPhone. And since the image contains that altered button we assume it’s also representative of the overall design of the next Apple smartphone.

Now if you analyze the image more carefully you see that it also carries a different screen-to-bezel ratio than the iPhone 4, which also corresponds nicely with latest rumors of a bigger screen. The new ratio means that the iPhone 5 will come with a 3.7″ screen, assuming that it has the same surface of the front panel as its predecessor.

Of course, there are too many if’s here to be able to take the whole thing without a pinch of salt, but it’s the second time the 3.7″ rumor comes up lately, so we guess its chances of coming true are increasing.

Reportedly, there are only a few weeks left before the official iPhone 5 announcement, so we won’t need to wait too much longer to find out.

Common reasons of Windows failure

You can find out the reasons why there was a sudden crash of your windows. Microsoft criticizes that half of the windows failure due to third party software installed on that computer, but there are some common reasons of windows failure like User behavior, BIOS and Driver Updating, Software Problems (install and uninstall process) and Shared information (Windows shared libraries).

By editing the windows registry keys, you can find out the system failure reasons. But always export or backup the whole windows registry keys on backup drive before editing. Because any mistake in Registry can cause serious problem in your computer to run properly.

Follow the given steps to edit computer registry for log file:
    • First click on Start button then type Regedit in Run option.
    • In registry editor panel change the DWORD value shutdownreasonUI to 1 in the given key:
    • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Reliability
    • Now after reboot the system, you can check the system log file (Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Logfiles) to find out the reasons of system failure.

Softkhazana - Get your adsense account approved fast

I’ve noticed that a lot of people have trouble getting an AdSense account the regular way, especially if you live outside of US/CAN/EUROPE. (especially Indians)

I’m going to show you guys a trick that I have been using for a while, and which has never failed me in getting multiple AdSense accounts.

Here is what you do:
1. Go to the website www.adsense.com

2. On the top right hand side you will see a register button click it!

3. Fill in all the information including a valid email.

4. Click I’d like to set up an AdSense account.
adsense aprooval quick

adsense aprooval quick

5. Fill in all the information Fully and submit.

6. You will get an email from both Google and
adsense. Click the link in the Google email and fill out the information and make sure it matches you ******* information. Also make sure you click “yes allow adsense.com to access my account”

7. Go back to
adsense.com and login to your newly made account.

8. At the top of the page click “my profile”

9. On the top left click “update profile” Make sure you fill in as much information here as possible and that it matches your AdSense info. The more info you input the more likely you will be approved by AdSense.

10. Find any random .doc files or .pdf files on your computer and click the Upload tab.

11. Click the upload tab and upload at least 2 files.

That is it! This method always works for me and you should be approved within a week. Once you have your AdSense account you don’t need
adsense any more, and you don’t have to share any of your AdSense earnings with them!!!

IE9 vs Chrome 10 vs Firefox 4 vs Opera 11.01 vs Safari 5 - The BIG browser benchmark

  • Now that Mozilla has finally released Firefox 4 to the masses, it’s time for a BIG browser benchmark where we take the leading browsers and pit them against four of the toughest benchmark tests available to see which is the tortoise, and which is the hare.

Note: This post has been updated for the final release of Firefox 4.

Here are the browsers that will be run:
    Internet Explorer 9 (9.0.8112.16421) 32-bit
    Internet Explorer 9 (9.0.8112.16421) 64-bit
    Firefox 4
    Chrome 10.0.648.151
    Safari 5.0.4
    Opera 11.01

Here are the tests that the browsers will face:
SunSpider javascript 0.9.1 - A javascript benchmark developed by Mozilla with a focus on real-world problem solving.
V8 Benchmark Suite - A pure javascript benchmark used by Google to to tune the V8 javascript engine.
Peacekeeper - FutureMark’s javascript test which stress-tests features such as animation, navigation, forms and other commonly utilized tasks.
Kraken 1.0 - Another javascript benchmark developed by Mozilla. This is based on SunSpider but features some enhancements.

All testing carried out on a Windows 7 64-bit machine running a Q9300 2.5GHz quad-core processor with 4GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GTX 260 graphics card.

    On with the testing!
SunSpider javascript Benchmark
Hare: IE9 32-bit
Tortoise: IE9 64-bit

V8 Benchmark

Hare: Chrome 10
Tortoise: IE9 64-bit

Peacekeeper Benchmark

Hare: Chrome 10
Tortoise: Firefox 4

Kraken Benchmark

Hare: Firefox 4
Tortoise: IE9 64-bit

Conclusion
OK, so what conclusions can we draw? Well, let’s begin with the obvious and say that Internet Explorer 9 64-bit is an absolute dog when it comes to javascript performance. This is to be expected given that IE 9 64-bit is using an older, slower javascript engine, while IE 9 32-bit was using the newer, more efficient Chakra JIT.

OK, with the loser out of the way, what’s the winning browser? Well, out of the four benchmarks, Chrome 10 won two, IE9 32-bit won one and Firefox 4 won one, so in the strictest sense, Chrome 10 is the winner. But in the SunSpider test there is so little separating the four fastest browsers (a shade over 40 milliseconds) that you could almost say it is a tie. Then there’s the V8 test, which Chrome 10 aces, but then that’s to be expected given that Google, by its own admission, use that benchmark to tune the V8 javascript engine.

So, what’s the conclusion? Simple, IE9 64-bit is shockingly bad, and all the other browsers are, on the whole, pretty evenly matched. I’m pleasantly surprised that IE9 32-bit actually aces the SunSpider test, but I expect that over the coming weeks Google will manage to catch up and take the lead once again (Microsoft’s painfully slow update cycle for IE (especially compared with Google’s aggressive update cycle) works against it in the long run. Microsoft has worked hard on IE, taking it from being the slowest in the pack to one of the fastest. That itself is worthy of recognition.

Note: The 64-bit version of IE is only available to those with a 64-bit OS, and even then you’ve got to go searching for it. My advice, don’t bother.

Bottom line, I really don’t think that javascript performance is an issue any more, and certainly in real-world testing it’s hard to see a difference between the browsers (some HTML 5 sites not withstanding, given that many are optimized for a particular browser). In fact, unless one of the players managed to boost javascript performance by an order of magnitude, shaving a few milliseconds off here and there hardly matters any more.

Firefox 4 vs. Chrome 11 Beta

It was a big week in the never-ending Internet browsers race. First, Firefox 4 was finally launched two days ago – last of the next generation browsers to hit the market, trailing behind Chrome 10 and Internet Explorer 9. It brought some new and interesting changes to UI – a brightly colored Firefox start button, that looks like something nicked from a recent Opera version, plus a tab-pinning function, no doubt nicked from Google. I just wish that Firefox would go further with their “borrowing” spree and include a cool IE9’s option to pin the websites to your task bar. But this release was not only about reused UI ideas. Reviewers praised new Firefox for its improved speed, GPU acceleration, and compatibility with latest and greatest standards, including HTML5. Over all, it’s a very modern, lean and mean browser, a clear improvement over previous 3.6 version.

The reactions were overall very positive, so no wonder Google, fiercely competing with Firefox for a second spot in the browser market, decided to steal some of its thunder and scrambled to push the new Chrome beta out of the door. They managed to do so yesterday, and after just a couple of hours, tech fanatics all around the globe were commenting various new Chrome features. So how does new Chrome compare to new Firefox? While Firefox 4 seems to be concentrating more on general polish, increased speed, and some UI changes, Chrome creators actually attempted to came up with something new. First up is the speech input option. Although it won’t help you much if you’re a non-native speaker with a runny nose, it works well enough, and Google claims that popular websites will pick this one up. Soon, you might be able to ask Google for a search query, or name things you want to look for on eBay.

But that’s not everything. There are also 3D Cascading Style Sheets. If you’re not a tech-oriented person, this may sound like a mouthful. But to put things simply, 3D CSS will allow websites to include some nifty 3d effects and transformations, like page flips or cylindrical menu’s, or page content bending under the mouse cursor. But that’s only if webmasters take time to code the effects visible only to a small number of browsers. Then, there is also speed. Even though it’s only an unpolished, beta version, Chrome 11 still manages to outperform Firefox 4 in several benchmarks, including javascript Sunspider and Futuremark’s Peacekeeper. Which one would I pick? Well, it’s a bit unfair to compare a finished product, like Firefox 4, to beta test version, even though Chrome 11 Beta is surprisingly stable and bug-free. Unfortunately, most of the improvements offered by Chrome will become useful only after websites adapt them. And by that time, Firefox will no doubt be sporting similar features. It seems that for now Chrome and Firefox are in a deadlock, with neither likely to increase the market share. Because never-ending races don’t just end like that, you know.

Google Launches Plus One

Google Launches Plus One

Google Rolls Out Plus One
Google is rolling out a new service that will allow its members to share their opinions of web pages with friends. The service, called Plus One, will allow users to give their recommendations to contacts in their Gmail account, Google reader, and Buzz initially, and there are plans to further expand this to Twitter contacts. Google is also planning on extending the service to news sites to allow them to include the Plus One function with stories. There is no announcement of plans to incorporate Facebook contacts at this time.

Unfortunately, only 2 percent of Google’s English-language users will be included in the initial trial of the service. This new function is seen by many as an attempt by Google to copy Facebook’s “Like” function, but the search giant is denying the claim pointing out the differences. Their service, unlike Facebook’s, will only be provided during similar relevant searches instead of a blanket distribution to all contacts in a spam fashion. They also say that there are plans to allow users to select whether the recommendations are taken into account when they perform web searches. The company is hopeful for Plus One, considering that many see the social services of the internet as where the future lies.

Check Wether your system is 64 bit capable or not

This method will allow you to know whether your current system is 64 bit or not

If you are using AMD processors like Athlon then you can use 32-bit and 64-bit of Windows7. Intel has also released a series of processors with 64 bit architectures .

Check your processor for 32bit or 64bit support .

Method 1: Check 64 bit Windows 7 support with CPUZ:

There is a small freeware application called CPUZ that can check almost every aspect related with hardware information of a PC .

Now refer above image and check whether the 64bit is supported by your processor. If there is 64MT then your Intel processor support 64 bit Windows 7. If yours is an AMD processor then it should be AMD64. This test almost confirms your processor compatibility with 64 bit Windows .

Check 64 bit Windows 7 support for processor on Windows Vista or Windows 7 32 bit installation .

Right click anywhere on your Windows desktop and open properties . Now calculate Windows Experience Index aka WEI. From under the lowest sub score, select to view and print detailed system information .

Total hardware information about your PC will be then displayed as shown above. Here on 64 bit support details it will be shown yes if your processor supports the architecture.

Download CPUz:

How to Uninstall and Remove Software in Safe Mode in Windows Operating System

If you have installed software on your computer and for any reason it gives you issues, the best thing to do is to uninstall it.
(Learn how with this post...)

If you have installed software on your computer and for any reason it gives you issues, the best thing to do is to uninstall it. Period. But what happen if such a piece of software keeps restarting your Windows operating system or worst, disables certain services so that you won’t be able to performs some important operation anymore ? In this case Windows will help you with a special feature called Safe Mode. Basically, in Safe Mode you will be able to troubleshoot your computer in order to fix issues. However, if you need to uninstall and remove some software, you have to know that this kind of “limited state” Mode has the Windows Installer Service completely disabled. Let’s see how to turn it on and uninstall everything… even in the Safe Mode configuration. Windows Installation Service is responsible for the installation and uninstallation procedure. If you try to access it in Safe Mode you will get the following message: “The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. This can occur if the Windows Installer is not correctly installed. Contact your Support Personnel for assistance”. The following tutorial will teach you how to turn the Windows Installation Service in Safe Mode:

1. Click Start
2. In the Search field, type regedit and press Enter.
3. Locate the following registry key: HKLM\ SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\ Control\SafeBoot\ Minimal\
4. Right-click on the Mininal key and from the menu select New – Key. Now name the new key MSIService and change the value to Service by double-clicking it.
5. If you are in the Safe Mode with Network Mode, repeat the above steps for the following registry key: HKLM\ SYSTEM#92;CurrentControlSet\ Control\ SafeBoot\Network\
6. The newly created MSIService will make available the Windows Installation Service in Safe Mode. However, I want to remind you that it is necessary to turn the new service on.
7. To do it, exit regedit, click Start and in the Search field type: services.msc and press Enter.
8. From the list, locate Windows Installer. Right-click it and select Start.
9. If the procedure to turn on Windows Installer doesn’t work try this one:
10. Click Start.
11. In the search field, type cmd. Do not press Enter.
12. Right click the Command DOS icon and click the Run it as Administrator link.
13. In the command prompt, type net start msiserver.

At the end of the whole procedure do not forget to restart your computer for the changes to take effect.

Make ur Illegal Windows Xp Legal

Here's a quick fix for all you who have illegal XP's and want to be able to do what those who have legal versions can do. If you can read instructions, you'll have no trouble, if not, I don't take responsibility for it!

1) ) Go to Start, Run, type regedit
2) Browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\WPAEvents
3) In the right-hand pane, double click on the value "OOBETimer"
4) Change one of these characters to another random character (it really doesn't matter which, the idea is to corrupt the key so that we un-activate our copy of Windows) and press OK
5) I've generated keys for you so use one of the following:

6) Go to Start, Run, and type C:\windows\system32\oobe\msoobe.exe /a, obviouslly replace C: with the drive letter that Windows is installed to.
7) Select the option to activate by phone, and press Next
Cool Click the button at the bottom labelled "Change Product Key"
9) Enter the new product key that the keygen created, and click Update
10) When the key is updated, do not continue with the activation process, close the activation window!

There are 50 unique keys and let me know if any don't work. There's about a 99% success rate with these keys so there may be one that doesn't work. Try another.
